Everything aside from the shift arm is 3D printed plastic.

Interesting. SuperKlasse is saying that they "never had a chance" to test the shifter on a car.

@desertwanderer

wtf! why would they sell a product that wasn't tested?

EDIT: i just posted over there... i'm not happy with their approach... even copies should be test fitted... i didn't sign up to be a beta tester...

Oh my goodness.  You just don't do that.  That would be a major disaster and what keeps me up at night.

Can anyone post any pictures.

My shifter will be back in their stock as soon as we resolve the PayPal dispute. I ordered this before I found my second TRD short shifter. I was going to install the C's knockoff but not now. You should see what people are doing to get this work! It evidently requires a good bit of grinding on the cage. I see why the TRD comes with the cage.

Modifying the cage really isn't a big deal... IF the original C's shifter had the same issue. Only if that's the case. The mod to the case is insignificant IMO.

I would too. Like, overall none of this is a big deal necessarily. 3D printed bushings are disappointing for $150 MSRP but they work. Modding the shift cage isn't a big deal if the original shifter required it (it is a replica after all). If it wasn't necessary and Superklasse fucked up, that's bad. The pivot cup being loose is no biggie, though if they include it, maybe it should be tight? Glad they included it.

Overall mixed bag. Saying it's better than a used TRD shifter at $400 is likely factual... but that isn't saying much. The TRD QSK is brilliant, I LOVE it, but it's so expensive it's ridiculous.

It is ridiculous. I like them (TRD) enough and if I can find another one, I will buy it as well as a spare. I will not keep this knockoff, however. even though I could buy 3 of the knockoffs for the price of one TRD. I do not like misrepresentation of a product and I will not support those who do it.
