Was driving through wolfe Kentucky and spotted this. Didn't have time to take a closer look. I was kind of surprised that they placed the spyder tucked in the middle of a row behind a sign and the street corner spot had a honda fit

If anyone buys it, please get me the flag. Apparently, I really do have an invisibility problem. Need to mount it on the front corner, though.

Still kidding right now, but I am getting more and more serious about the idea of mounting a frickin multi-colored set of neon flags at each corner. No rant, just sayin'...

I felt this way the first few months of driving mine too. Only thing I've actually done to improve visibility is brighter headlights. The main improvement has been my own awareness and avoidance of other drivers. I pretty much assume any car larger than... A newer Accord coupe (3200lbs or so) can't see me. The larger the vehicle, the less I believe it is aware of me.

One thing I want to do and haven't yet is change the horn. Something a bit more robust would be helpful.

I went with this horn on all of my cars.

I only used the high-frequency one on the Spyder. It is LOUD!

By the way Marsrock I got the same shift knob you told me about and I love it! I think it is worth the (to frugal me) high price. Great knob!

I get no kickback on either of these but such would be put to good humanitarian use!

Haha that's very kind of you, thank you, but I'm not personally interested. I was just saying, make back $10 😛

How does just the high sound sound? I'm curious how the low one sounds too. Would be funny. I almost installed a train horn in my MR2.

Thanks for the horn recommendation. I'm reading in the reviews that many Toyota owners were able to plug and play install with factory harness. Is that true for the Spyder?

Glad you're enjoying the new shift knob. It really does have a great feel to it. Probably my favorite I've ever gotten to use.

I was able to do the one horn install without modifying the factory wiring. I do not remember exactly what I did but it was easy enough that I was able to figure it out. Yep, the knob is my favorite of all time!
