Hello, My father has been an owner of AN MR2s for 15+ years, his dream was to always do an engine swap, K20 or 2ZZ. He now has the OK and the funds to do so only we cant find a shop to do the work. Please help

I would recommend searching for a speed shop in your area and ask if they are able to do the work. If not your best bet is to ship the car to a reputable shop out of state that has experience in doing the swap and then fly down to pick up the car and drive it home.
In my opinion if you are not mechanically inclined I would avoid swapping the car as all swaps come with issues or tinkering and the labor adds up if you are not familiar with it. Also a lot of 2ZZ engines being sourced these days are having issues because they may not have been treated well from the last owner.
