Mongo Wind Deflectors for sale again

These are a "Must Have" item for our cars.  I'm happy to see them in production again.

Welcome to the better place,  Mongo!  Glad to see you here and that your wind deflectors are in production again!

 I have had your wind deflectors for a really long time. They are still doing a great job. Welcome to the board. 

I have also had these (long version) several years. Interesting item that I originally thought, before purchase, were probably a little bit kitsch, but what the Hell, I’d try. My conclusion is they make a huge difference when your windows are down.  The window down noise -  pre 2-minute install - you have to nearly yell at each other to converse. But post install you can converse at a normal talking voice. The function is related to the wind noise from air turbulence between the A pillar and mirror with the mirror causing the noise. Similar to when you put your hand out the window to ‘catch the wind’. Many of us drive with the windows up.  This partly related to this excess noise and turbulence created by that pillar/mirror gap.

The one thing I will say is that you have to remove them when you take your car in for service. They are so discrete, the unknowing can catch them with their shoulder when entering. The windshield guy caught mine and put a 1” crack in it (grrrr!) and I didn’t notice because they removed them to do the windshield. I discovered the crack several weeks later when I was reinstalling them. (It had snowed, so I had left the car be.

I think you will need to make a few more posts in public forums before you can send PM's due to anti-spam measures that were put into place.   In the back of my mind I seem to recall there is a minimum of 3 posts to allow use of PM.  If that doesn't  do the trick, post that here and I'll (or Dev) will see what we can do. 

 It is possible that you haven't found the PM tab. If you click on the  My Profile and front he drop down menu account it will take you to the tab for messages. 

My deflectors came in the mail on Monday.  It’s amazing how much of a difference they make.  I do have to watch my knee a little more when entering the car.
