a.k.a. ´dog bones´.

Came a accross a write up by a Japanese MR-S owner about the ´dog bones´. Imo he is spot on and want to add that a significant part of the changed feel is because of the increased negative camber.

p.s. Boris still has some in stock.

All in all it baffles me that lowering the car without this simple mod is the norm. You´d think that Toyota engineers knew what they were doing.

I have them fitted whereas my car has standard shocks/springs. I dó have camber bolts front and rear. Found that the rear ones did not give enough adjustment but top bolts too??? Nahhh... they are after all less strong. Apart from the roll centre tuning, the ´dog bones´ also give negative camber and now I dó have the adjustment desired.

As the shocks are nearing their end of life, have extensively looked at affordable! alternatives. The reasonably priced choice is basically between too hard & low or OEM. I think the latter has the least draw backs for my use. Again the Toyota engineers proved their merits with the moderate Sportivo set up. Alas....
