I wonder if you could pull the front plastics/ frunk and still mount the spare solidly. If so, we could have some huuuuuuge spares haha
Yes you can. I've done so. Still stock sized spare, but no bin. I still throw a backpack, duffel bag, or similar in there with no issues. Just make sure everything is closed up and there are no really long straps dangling.
