The valve cover gasket was leaking into the plug holes so had to be replaced. With a gasket under way, a MAF mod. kit came up for sale and as that is a doddle to do with the valve cover off ... that was soon under way too.

Meanwhile done dome 1500 kms with the mod.

The CPU has learned how to run it but not sure if it will ever learn starting the engine as promptly as before.

Still taking that bad with the load of good. Never mind if there is a handfull of horses more at the top end, it is the low to mid range which is só much better. On my lighter car it is like having  more cubic inches or a lower gearing. Lóve it.

Thanks Cap!!

I would love to get CAP over here. He has an account but has not yet migrated. He is one of the members I respect and have trusted since the start(my start) about 10 years ago. I always enjoy the technical, borderline theoretical, conversations we had over the years.

It would seem  he wasn't very happy with Spyderchat recently. I think what keeps him on Spyderchat are new owners with messed up cars that need trouble shooting. We don't have a lot of that here.
