Fortune Auto 510 Coilovers only 7k miles $1400 shipped CONUS

(crossposted from one of the other boards, which is why this ad might seem familiar)

I have a set of Fortune Auto 510 series generation 6 coilovers for sale with 4k front and 6k rear springs. They handle like a dream, but are too stiff for me even on full soft on these potholed Boston roads. According to the previous owner they have about 7k miles on them. They're in pretty good condition overall except for the rears, which have sway bar endlink ends still attached and a slight paint scrape from where I tried to cut the end links off. Comes with all adjustment hardware. They are $2395 new (you can search the Fortune Auto website to confirm, direct linking isn't working), but I'm willing to sell them for $1400 shipped in the continental US. If you're near Boston (within 1 hour) I'm willing to make an in-person transaction and take $60 off of the total price. Happy to answer any questions and take more pictures upon request.

It's because of that stupid stock endlink design; even with a few hours of penetrating fluid doing its work, I couldn't get enough leverage with my allen key and wrench to free the damn thing. I only have a dremel and no torch or angle grinder, so I'll defer to someone with better tools to try to remove them.

I had cut the bolts on mine because the allen hex in the middle rounded.
The aftermarket high and tight end links have a much better design to hold the joint from spinning.

I've had those H&T endlinks on previous MR2s, and they work great. They are pricey compared to some AC Delco endlinks that I'm seeing on Rockauto that also use a captive nut instead of that allen key, and come out to about $24 for both as compared to the $100 for H&T. Funnily enough, it looks like MWR is trying to sell similar parts for about $35 each, which is a huge markup.

Im actually surprised that the non greased fitting of the H&T have lasted so long on my car.  The allen key design is just terrible. I can usually get one side off but the other side always rounds off.   MWR marks up cheap Chinese stuff that can be bought on EBay and calls it their QRP line which doesn't work.  I once bought a Cam sensor from EBay for testing and it ruined my intake cam.

There are some parts where its just better to buy the original or save some money and buy used OEM.  There is a lot of crap refurbished stuff out there as well.

Are these still for sale? Had not considered the Fortune Auto's and my goal was not to spend any this year 🙂
