Who rides?  What do you ride?  Where do you ride?

I live in North Georgia and am blessed to have an abundance of excellent roads to ride on... it's a shame I have to choose between the Spyder or the Z when I go out each time...

Past, present, future motorcycles - let's see them!

My current bike is a 2006 Kawasaki Z1000

Some past bikes include, but are not limited to:

2004 Buell XB12R

2003 Ducati 749S

2 of the same bike: 2000 Honda ST1100 and 1994 Honda ST1100 ABS (slightly different personalities when riding though)

Prior to that, CB 750 Nighthawk from 1992 and VF500 Magna (my first ‘learner’ bike).

I ride maybe 3000-4000 miles a year on both, so these have low mileages (33K on the 2000, 36K on the 1994)- all updated with timing belts, hoses, and all fluids in the past 1.5 years. In general, these are low maintenance bikes that can easily go 200K miles without major issues. The 94 was a vacation bike when we had the vacation townhome in SC and when we came down permanently, I just kept both bikes.

I ride!! I'm in Raleigh, NC. I've had my Suzuki SV650 for about 4 years now. Been through various rebuilds and design iterations, but here's how she sits now. Mod list is wayyy too long to count, but basically everything has been done in the name of comfort. Kind of a sport-touring build. Pics are from a backcountry camping trip last year to Shenandoah VA.

Oh and here's how she looked after my first motorcycle accident about 3 years ago:

Scotland, which when you get the weather is biking Nirvana. Less than an hour from my door is the start of the Scottish Highlands, superb riding.

As I do 12 hour shifts, 2 days, 2 nights, off 4 on a rolling schedule I can get out riding midweek when roads are quiet.
