General Info: Always Read First...!

Intake Manifolds: CONFIRMED
The innovative mounts put the engine so far forward that only certain intake manifold will fit without hammering the firewall, if you choose to cut the firewall then the options are limitless.

PRB Intake Manifold
RBB Intake Manifold
Skunk2 EP3 Intake Manifold
Skunk2 Ultra Race Manifold (Hammering maybe needed depending on the throttle body size and type of TPS sensor you choose)

Shifting Mechanism: CONFIRMED
Use the Factory MR2 cables and this bracket will make them interface with no other mods.

**Note: 2006+ Civic SI transmission will require the shift "Arms" off of a RSX type S transmission. You will then be able to hook up the innovative shift Mechanism as it would be on a normal RSX type s Transmission. Further modification will be needed if you choose to use the VSS (not needed)

ECU: CONFIRMED
You will need a Hondata ECU for a 02-04 Acura RSX and the corresponding wire harness.

Axles: CONFIRMED
Axles can be ordered through Drive Shaft Shop they now have part numbers on file though they are not on their website. Also Insane shafts produces axles for the swap.

Wiring:
One member made a DYI wiring diagram, I myself make a PNP harness for the swap.  This PNP harness also has a addition for those wanting to run AC.  See AC section for more details. With the complexity of the Toyota Multiplex system some gauges will not work with either way you choose to do the wiring. When you completely remove the factory ECU, the only things that will not work are the A/c, Temp gauge, and oil pressure warning light.

ABS:
I have found in theory that the ABS is almost completely independent of the engine control unit there is one wire going to the ECU and from talks with people its a input to tell ecu that ABS is active. the stock ABS system is also what controls the MPH gauge therefore wiring in a VSS signal from the Honda transmission is not necessary.

P/S:
The P/S system isn't to much of an issue in my eyes as it will keep running if you don't give it any signal from ecu. So at the basic level you have P/S no matter what. Now if you want to operate factory style then you need to configure Kpro to see the signal from the pump to IDLE UP on current draw which is PIN E3-25. There is also a pin on the ecu for turning the pump on and off while the engine is running/off. This pin is E3-19 on the ECU. From what I understand if the Power Steering ECU doesn't see any input on this pin it will just stay on all the time with the car in Acc/ON position. As for any speed variance to Pump pressure adjustments this is all done between the P/S ecu and the ABS ecu (as the ABS ecu supplies the speed signal).

A/C:
Myself and 2 other member's have helps to create a completely standalone system.  The perk of this is once it is install you can use the Toyota AC compressor and all of it's functions with any engine swap you may perform in the future. . You will want to keep your 1zz compressor as it will be the easiest by far to adapt to work. The K-series compressors are bigger and right now the 1zz one will barely fit. We have also fabricated mounts to bolt the factory AC compressor onto any K series block.

Throttle Cable:
Was informed that if you buy a Cruise Control delete it will allow the factory cable to bolt in no major mods needed for a stock throttle body.  If you choose to upgrade your throttle body then you will have to simply drill out the current hole to make room for the bigger stop on the MR2 throttle cable, it approximately a 5 minute job if you have a drill press.

Radiator Hoses: CONFIRMED
The K-series and the 2zz are very similar in where all the hoses route. Since this being true it has been confirmed for fact that the kswap (k20) (k24 will need modification) in the lotus all the hoses fit up 99% perfect.
Cutting one hose 2 inches is all that is required on the lotus. Since the engine is what determines the placement of hoses then the spyder should be no different then whats required for a 2zz swap. When using a K24 the outlet off the cylinder head are slightly different, more cutting will be needed of the OEM spyder hoses.

Heater Hoses: CONFIRMED
Read Radiator Hoses Same applies.

Exhaust System: CONFIRMED
PPE makes a Header now for MR-2 Spyder with Kswap and is also available through MWR and myself.
Collector size is 2.5" and the over all header is longer than the stock one so will stick out further than factory.
PPE also makes a downpipe/cat version that will mate with the factory muffler system.

Fuel System: CONFIRMED
You will need a few adapter to modify the stock lines to mate with the Honda one's.  Depending on your HP goal you may need to modify the fuel pump and other parts of the fuel system. LINK  coming soon.

Clutch Line: CONFIRMED
A simple stainless steel replacement. Link coming soon

Thank you for going to the effort of compiling all the info on this site.

I will be using this a bit since I got my donor motor dropped off last night. Need to do the K20 oil pump swap and some other things before ordering a install kit.
