Replacement Soft Tops

While working on the interior area of my car (redoing a bunch of previously rushed wiring and setting things up in a much more organized manner, etc), I noticed that my soft top is well beyond repair and would like to get a new replacement top.  I've seen some videos of the process and know that it's not exactly easy, but it should be doable.

My question for all of you is:  Where can I get a good deal on a quality soft top?  I've heard the Robbins tops are good.  But that is my memory of a top maker from ages ago.  If possible, I'd like to get a top soon and do it now while I have a lot of the car taken apart.  But I'm open to ideas.

Thoughts?

I recently bought one Robbins and one Sierra top.  Both with Haartz cloth.  They are identical except for the rear glass attachment style.  Neither company will give you any warranty adjustment whatsoever if anaythjnf is wrong, when you install the top yourself.
So I installed both tops myself.

I’ll paste links to a buyers guide I compiled, plus installation instructions and tips that I jotted down after the last installations.

You can buy Sierra on Amazon.  But to get a Robbins top you’ll have to buy from a retailer.   Mitch’s auto parts should get you a good price.

Thanks for all of that info!  I'll check with Brandon to see what kind of deal he can get me.  Do you have a preference between the 2 tops?

@lordtakuban  Apparently the window attachment detail is a big deal.  Robbins are pretty proud of their fancy glass attachment. And it does look the best with a flush transition from glass to fabric on the exterior surface.  However…a mechanic at the repair shop bought a Sierra that had a leak at the glass from day #1.  He probably could have returned it via Amazon but chose to repair it.  So it’s a bit of a toss up.   The Robbins glass detail looks really nice, and it probably less apt to ever tear free and leak (almost nobody will ever notice the small glass detail.).  The Sierra is about $200-$300 cheaper, and you are likely to get SOME warranty benefits via Amazon.    However I have seen that one case where the glass seal leaked from new.   The remainder of the top is identical.  So it’s definitely a toss up but I’d probably choose Robbins again.

Thanks.  I definitely do not want  to have issues down the road.  The extra few hundred bucks will be worth it in the long run for ease of maintenance.
