Yes, but nowhere near Paso Robles. I'm in Orange County, Huntington Beach to be specific. There is a new Firestone Walker restaurant/tasting room around 4 miles from LAX. I stopped by there for a beer and a sandwich after dropping off my sister at the airport. It is a really nice spot.

Oh man, I had this Firestone Walker brew once that was AMAZING. Haven't been able to find it since. It was a berry sour. Cost like $17 at a restaurant.

You need to visit one of their tasting rooms. Most of their sour beers are available. Go up to Russian River in Santa Rosa, what -  an hour away? Some of the best sour beers ever!!

I can't seem to find any Firestone Walker location in Santa Rosa anywhere. Got a link? I'd absolutely go up there sometime.

Sorry. My response was a little misleading. I believe the closest Firestone Walker tasting room to you would be Paso Robles. Only a quick 4 hour trip. 😉 

I mentioned Russian River in Santa Rosa as an alternative as they are much closer and they have some excellent sour beers.

Ohh I getcha. I will have to visit Russian River for some sour beers soon.

If you ever make the trip down to Paso Robles, let me know and I'll try to meet-up with you there -- and see about introducing you to Cap, who lives about 15 minutes from there.  I haven't seen Cap in a few years.  It would be awesome if we could make that happen.

I'm scheduled to head over that way the evening of 8/30 and then heading back to Fresno Monday 9/2 in the evening.    Anything there work for you?  Let me know and I'll try to get in touch with Cap and see if we can put something together.

Turns out a guy down the street from me makes and sells them.

I agreed to help with installing his new motor this weekend so I will get and post pics of them after I get back.
